Story
I know the picture is horrible so please click on the second one to see how wonderful i am now!
In October 2006, I became very sick. I was taken to the Infectious Diseases Unit at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington. I became sicker and sicker. After 7 days of literally fighting for my life, I was taken into the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, known as PICU to us surviving children. My body was unable to cope so the equipment took over and to give it a rest so that the doctors could treat me. Whilst my body was at peace the doctors and the medicines had a chance to work.
The equipment was life saving. It is all funded through COSMIC which is the charity that supports PICU. Without Cosmic there is no PICU. I would not be here.
I am doing a sponsored walk for Cosmic on 11th July in Hyde Park. It's 5km and i'm doing it along with lots of other children who's lives have been saved, so it's quite a special day.
Please help me to raise money so that the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in St Mary's can buy much needed equipment to help save other children's lives.
i know it's a lot of money, so i really need your help. there are various pieces of equipment that we can fund, depending on how much i collect......please help me?
Enjoy life with me!
