I have just completed my last year of school and am going on to study History at university. Before this I have decided to take a year out to spend 12 months teaching abroad.

So what am I going to be doing for a whole twelve months next year? Well, I have been selected by Project Trust to spend a year in South Africa where I will be teaching in a primary school in Polokwane in the Limpopo region. I will be helping with homework and sports activities and hope to start up a club. There will be an opportunity for me to help out in the neighbouring Enrichment Centre for disabled children as well as other local projects. I leave on August 28th and am very excited to experience a new culture and become more independant.

I have finally raised all of my sponsorship money. A great big thanks to everyone who has sponsored and supported me. I am leaving in just over a week and cannot wait!
