Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I have decided to challenge myself again this year by trying new activities as well as raise money for the Rowans Hospice. My father-in-law, Tom Jervis who passed away in July 2006, spent some time in Rowans Hospice receiving specialist care whilst suffering from Cancer. A beautiful peaceful place that relies totally on the generosity of the local community.
So in his memory, I am going to Abseil down the Civic Offices Building on the 19th April 2008 at 13.30 Please show your support by helping me to raise a minimum of £100 and turn up on the day to cheer me on. I am not great with heights so I will either be shouting in terror or abseiling in complete silence.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The Rowans Hospice will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
