Story

Thanks for thinking of supporting my first - and last - marathon. My feet hurt and legs ache, and I've yet to get to New York.

I'm running for the Natalie Naylor Trust Fund. Natalie was a friend my daughter met at university, who died from meningitis earlier this year. The Trust Fund is run by her family and friends for causes that were close to Natalie's heart, with money being raised for research into meningitis and breast cancer.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also an efficient way to sponsor me: if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please give generously, your support will make a difference to the Fund, and will ease the pain on my feet!

About the charity

Natalie died from meningitis in January 2004. A student at Sussex University, a beautiful life of rich potential was cruelly cut short. NNTF raises funds primarily for research into meningitis, and also supports causes that were close to Natalie, namely breast cancer and riding for the disabled. Over £20,000 was raised in eight months.
