Hi Guys

On the 13th of November i will be riding coast 2 coast in memory of Terry Mottershead who sadly passed away on the 2nd of november after battling with Cancer. the ride will be from Blackpool to Cleethorpes via Pocklington airfield. Terry flew from Pocklington and loved gliding and all aspects of flying. the ride will be 160 miles, which i aim to finish in 12-13 hours! it will be a long hard day but it should all be worth it if i raise plenty of money for Cancer research. all donations are going to cancer research UK, you can find out about what they do by looking at http://www.cancerresearchuk.org . This is a call close to me as my Grandad beat cancer recently and my nan sadly passed away from it 6 years ago.

Ill be helped along the way by some friends and family. Nicholas Emerson will be setting off from Blackpool with me before dawn and riding with me all the way to Cleethorpes.. We will also have much needed help from Craig Keyworth, he will be following us in his van to help us with food and drinks and much needed coffee along the way! he also kindly covered the cost of staying over in Blackpool the night before the ride! without there help this would have been much more difficult!! cheers lads!!!! We will also be met by friends and family at Pocklington airfield, to help keep us motivated and for some of them to ride the last section with us too. this will be a long hard day, fingers crossed the weather plays nice!
