Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On the 16th September I will be attempting the Nottingham Marathon, this is my first (and probably my last!!) attempt at a marathon. There is a twist in that a friend of mine, Andy Greaves is going to row the marathon on a rowing machine in the gym at the same time as I run it!!

I am running to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, while Andy is raising money for CF as well as for school sports equipment for a local school in Chesterfield.  I decided to raise money for CF as I have seen the effects that it can have on a family. At present there is still no cure for the disease, which is genetic and only the advancement in drugs technology has extended the life expectancy of CF sufferers.

If you want to know more about Cystic Fibrosis and the work that the Cystic Fibrosis Trust do the please follow the link below.

I am aiming for a time of 4 hours 40 minutes but would love to beat this time if possible.

I would appreciate any donation you feel you can make, no matter how big or how small.

Many thanks for your support.

Neil
