Fundraising for Leukaemia UK
Story
On June 8th i fly off to Geneva to start what i expect will be an adventure of epic proportions.... and pain.
Together with 49 other crazy/brave (delete as applicable) folk called The Fireflies, i will be cycling the 1000Km down through the Alps to Cannes. Its a 9 day ride, covering some of the most arduous mountains, and breath taking scenery, oh and its a bit hard too....
Its all in aid of Leuka, a charity which was started in 1982 by Lester Cazin, to help facilitate and support clinical activity and research, primarily at Hammersmith Hospital.
So, if you're even remotely impressed and would like to support me & Leuka, please do so by pledging some cash (either that, or buy me a nice new super light weight bike please..... no? OK, cash will do thanks).
See you on the other side, probably a little thinner, but very proud.
PS: Thanks to all my mates/family that have put up with me wittering on about cycling and constantly parading around in lycra, it aint pretty.
