Fundraising for BBC Children in Need
Story

On Saturday the 15th of November we are holding the first ever Newcastle University Charity Racketlon event!
Members of the University Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton and Squash Clubs are joining force to help raise money for Children in Need 2008 and The Newcastle Arts Leisure Culture Trust.
The event will take place at the University Sports Centre on Saturday 15th of November and each club will compete in the four racket sport disciplines to hopefully win the title of Charity Racketlon Team 2008 and more importantly bragging rights as the best university racket club for the rest of the year!!
We will also be holding a charity auction and to end the day of madness we will be taking to the Toon on a bar crawl, donning charity t-shirts and with buckets in hand hopefully raising lots more money from very generous geordies!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BBC Children in Need gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
