So thats it!! All done! Marathon complete!

Welcome to our fundraising page!

It was one of those kind of discussions which went from 'haha, of course you cant run a marathon!' to 'well if you think you can, apply' to 'OK I WILL, and I'll do it' to 'oh bugger I've got a place!!!'

And thats how BOTH Claire AND Ryan came to be running the NYC Marathon, 4th Nov 2007.  Claire has always been committed to running a marathon, and has only been delayed slightly due to an ACL reconstruction (!) last year. Ryan on the other hand has always been committed to furthering the prosperity of Cambridgeshire public houses and doing just enough to pass his fitness test each year!

But here we are. And we can't think of a better charity to be supporting through this torturous (!) ordeal than Hope and Homes for Children. This charity is committed to providing futures for children all around the world, and focuses its efforts in getting orphans out of institutions and into loving families.  Both of us have been lucky enough to have loving families around us throughout our lives, and have them right behind us in support of our challenge.  Millions of children around the world are not so lucky. ****UPDATE****   We have just completed the Robin Hood Nottingham Half Marathon as part of our Training! Both of us secured a sub 2Hrs time and are feeling strong for the marathon!!! Thanks to everyone who has donated so far!!!
