Training Update 

I finished 64th out of 700 in my first race of the year over 12km at Stratford in January.

In March I ran in a 20 mile race in Gloucester where I finished 200th in a time of 2:33.  Also in March despite wind and hail I achieved a personal best of 1:33 in the London Half Marathon at Silverstone.  

The serious training has now finished and I will be winding down to race day.  I am hopeful that I will run the race in 3:30, which would be a personal best for the marathon.

Look out for me on the tele I'm number 2814 and will be wearing a Cancer Research running vest.

On a very hot day and with the help of the huge crowds I made it home in 4:06, not as fast as I would have liked but to finish on a day like Sunday was an achievement.
