Thanks to Dagenham 88, I will be running (or crawling) the London Marathon again this year having promised that I would never do it again.  However pain fades and so do the memories of having to walk downstairs backwards!

I am raising money for Help for Heroes, which provides practical help to a group of people who need specialist medical care and interventions which aren't immediately accessible to them.
Whatever your politics or feelings about Iraq and Afghanistan, our people from the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force wounded in action deserve and need our support. Help for Heroes is a largely volunteer force collecting money and redistributing it to the experts who care for returning service people whose lives have been shattered. The picture is me having climbed the Grouse Grind in Vancouver in rain and mist and cold - so London can't be that bad..........
