Story
Hello
As many of you already know I have set myself the daunting task of running the London Marathon in April in aid of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Why? My niece Clara is 7 and was diagnosed with Diabetes a year ago. Many people are unaware of just how life changing diabetes is unless it has affected someone close. So I am raising money to help reduce the impact this illness has on Clara and thousands like her and, with any luck, help to find a cure. JDRF has funded every major breakthrough in Type 1 Diabetes research over the past 3 decades.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Any donation you can manage would be hugely appreciated. If you would like to learn more about the charity go to www.jdrf.org.uk.
Many thanks for your support.
Nicola
