Story
It all started with a casual conversation over dinner in Weymouth last year ... a few weeks later, I was quite surprised to see that an email had gone to all 25,000 people in New Look with my name in the list of lucky marathon runners for 2010. I'm still not quite sure how that happened...
So - training has been a tale of endless fun and enjoyment. My customised programme of one run per week has yet to be adopted by the mainstream schools of coaching, but given time I'm sure it will catch on.
In the meantime, my fundraising masterplan was to rely on the deep pockets and good nature of the many people I've worked alongside / been friends with / been related to over years and months. For some in the first category, there turned out to be a slight recent flaw in the plan which may have resulted in pockets being a bit less deep and nature a bit less sunny ... but I'm hoping that we can overcome that and still pull together a good contribution for a fantastic cause. Please!

So please, if you can spare a little cash, I'll do my best to drag myself round the miles on the day!
