We cannot underestimate the impact of having someone ready to listen, to support and to care about what has happened. In particular, it is important that there is a caring voice from outside the family, in our case Diane Atkins.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Tragedy is a lonely place, a place where every victim is totally alone in their own unique place. There is a deep need to find solace, to find meaning, to find support. No-one is ever ready, ever prepared for such a moment.Only the experienced carer,&nbsp;such as Diane and in our case family and friends can surround you, can comfort and console you.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>At times indeed there is only God to turn to, but without support, without help, then tragedy is a dismal place, often void of meaning.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Victim Support</em> helps shine a light, helps to bring rays of hope.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">To Victim Support we are most thankful, and I would advise any victim to seek help there.</p>
