Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know CLIC sargent ~ cancer care for children , is the charity we are supporting at school this year. Last year I had a wonderful and brave little boy in my class called Jack Mylam who sadly died on 31 August . He was nine years old. He loved school, sport and his friends and family very much and we all miss him. Many of his friends at school have started to raise money for CLIC sargent and we are aiming to raise £2000 by the end of the year.
Sadly our secretary's daughter, beautiful Joanna Bunt also died of cancer only a few days after Jack. She was 17 years old and had attended Threemilestone school for her primary years. We had the privilege of watching Jo grow into a lovely young woman and we all have fond memories of teaching her.
Both of these wonderful young people and their families were supported by CLIC who do a fantastic job at the most heart wrenching time.
So as you can see I am putting on my running shoes and doing my little bit to raise money to contribute towards our grand total! I have set a personal target for £500!!
London Marathon 2010 is on April 25th!
