We provide the very best palliative care to help both patients and their families

Story

Myself, Toni, Dave, Jannie, Cavey and Blase have entered the 5km or 10km run that is part of the Northamptonshire '10 run which is being held at Sixfields Stadium in on Sunday 3rd October. All monies raised will go to Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

The Hospice is a purpose-built 20-bedded unit and provides hospice and palliative care services for south Northamptonshire. (serving a population in excess of 300,000 people). It is mainly funded by the NHS. However, to maintain its exceptional quality of care, they need an extra £650,000 a year which they get through charitable donations and fund raising activities. Money raised this way is used to employ staff for the benefit of patients and to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

From a personal perspective, I would like to give something back as a ‘thank you’ for the excellent care they gave my mum in her unexpectedly last few days which were spent at the Hospice in May of this year

We appreciate that you all have probably received numerous sponsorship requests but anything you can give to help us reach our goal will be much appreciate. Every pound you donate really does make a difference

Gift Aid it!

If you are a taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating so that an extra 25%, plus a 3% supplement, can be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks for visiting this fundraising page, we really appreciate all your support!
