Why run the marathon anyway?
This year I am not running the London marathon - I thought it best to avoid the crowds on the big day.
No matter how I got you to visit this fundraising page please part with a few bob and support Bob not running the London Marathon.
Instead I'll walk the equivalent route. Of course I'll miss the buzz of the main event but as they say in football - at the end of the day its all about goals.
My goal is to encourage people to make a charity donation to support the work of Oxfam who are involved in long term projects around the world that are suffering the effects of climate change as well as immediate response to disasters.
I've even mad it easy for you to show your support - just think that I am running the official London Marathon and give generously while online.
