Story
The 10 in 10 is a running challenge inspired by the feats of individuals such as Sir Ranulph Fiennes and since then Blind Dave who ran 7 marathons in 7 continents in 7 days.
Ben Jones, Paul Rennie and Jack Boatman will be attempting to take on the challenge of running at least 10 half marathons back to back between 10-19th September 2010. This is all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, with the aim of raising £10,000. Supported throughout by sports therapist Claire Henman, the runners will start on the Headrow in Leeds at 10am on Friday 10th September, and will live out of a motor home for the duration of the event. The first leg takes them from Leeds to Wetherby and over the North Yorkshire Moors, through Teeside and County Durham before arriving in Exhibition Park in Newcastle on day Nine in preparation to complete the worlds biggest half marathon the Great North Run on day 10, Sunday 19th Spetember.
Months and Months of hard training have been dedicated to this charity fundraising event and your donations and support is greatly appreciated to help us to reach our target so please give generously.
