Over the coming 'months' all 18 staff from North Tyneside's NHS Podiatry department are taking part in a gruelling 729.1 mile run / walk on a treadmill, that's equivalent to the distance between Land's End and John O'Groats. 

The participants are;

Stephen Hannant, Robert Stringer, Lynn Ruddock; Lorna Erickson; Joanne Hunter; Linda Knight; Joanne Hubble (and bump); Victoria Marshall; Judith Slocombe; Sarah Scott; Ann Haddock; Nicola Brinton; Carol Barrett; Norma Ferguson; Vivian Watson; Jackie Hanlon; Amanda Hindson and Christine Maddison.

In completing this challenge we hope to raise the awareness of Alzheimer's disease and as much money as possible for the Alzheimer's Society.
