 I have now completed Cancer Research UK's "Double Marathon Challenge" but it isn't too late to make a donation.

On November 7th 2010 I completed my first ever marathon - the ING New York Marathon in 5hrs 1 min and it was the experience of a lifetime. On April 17th 2011 I completed the Virgin London Marathon in 5hrs 30 mins. 

The challenge is for me to raise £3000 for Cancer Research UK.

I had a lot of cold wintry nights of training and several days of dehydration, muscle cramps, sore and stiff legs after completing each marathon but it has all been worth it with the wonderfully generous donations received to date.
