Thank you so much for visiting our site.

Well, the training has begun and the 35 brave individuals from Octopus Towers are well into their training to complete a combined distance of over 4,000km of cycling around the Kent countryside.

What's unusual about that, you ask?  Well of course, you'll find us doing this every weekend! But on Sunday, September 13th, we're doing it for a special reason: to raise as much money as we can for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We chose this charity to support because of the wonderful work they do to support cancer patients and their families and because they have been a great support to James and his family, following James' wife's diagnosis of stage iv cancer in May.

So, the cyclists making up Team Octopus are...

Adam Field, Alistair Brew, Andy and Kate Burt, Caroline Aldon
Chloe Riess, Chris Blakeney, Christopher Fuller, Dan Sharpe, David Blight
David Crawford, Edward James, Edward Keelan, Guy Myles, Helen Oxley
James Shenton, Jerry Price, Jo Oliver, John Thorpe, Jon Coppen
Jonathan Samuels, Karen Ward, Karl Jentoft, Kenneth Okoroafar, Lothar Mentel
Luke Hakes, Paul Latham (yes, really!!!), Sarah Hooper, Simon (ouch, my knee hurts!!!) Rogerson, Sophie Johnson
Steve Godfrey, Steve Henderson, Tom Peters, Wallace Lo, Wikus van der Merwe

We know our fund raising target is high, so please dig deep and help us to achieve it. As this is a collective page, please feel free to add the name of the individual you are sponsoring to your message so that they can keep track of how much they've raised so far!

Thank you so much for your support.

James and Natalia, on behalf of Team Octopus
