Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, where I am raising money for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign.  Any money I raise will contribute towards the funding the establishment of a new, dedicated Breast Unit at Worcester Royal Hospital for use by women and men across Worcestershire for all breast related issues.

This particular charity has supported my own mother.  It means a great deal to her and the rest of our family that we recognise the tremendous work done by campaign personell - led by Consultant Breast Surgeon Mr Steven Thrush.

My main fundraising effort this year is to run the London Marathon.  I've been training since September 2009 with my running buddy Pete Grieveson.  During what appears to be the longest and harshest winter on record - Pete and I have maintained our weekly training schedule.  Together we targeting a finish time of around 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - any amount is hugely appreciated.

Many thanks,

Oliver Gleave.
