We keep funding the search for answers to ensure no life is cut short by cancer

Story

I'm running as part of the University of York team travelling to Amsterdam. I ran the Birmingham half marathon last October and I'm now extremely excited to continue my passion for running this year.

To run for such a great cause it also an amazing honour. Worldwide Cancer Research is such an amazing organisation and all the money raised for them goes straight to the research they carry out.

There are over 200 different known cancers - all different, unique diseases which require different approaches for treatment. Treatments that work for some cancers don't work for others and sometimes those treatments simply stop working.

£1,000 will allow a scientist to examine the make-up of a cancer gene. This is crucial to understand how this disease spreads and kills.

Without funding there can be no research. Without research cancer will win.

Any donation would be hugely appreciated and I thank you in advance.
