On the 1st of May, me, my brother Matt and a few of our mates are going to ride from Nevill Holt Leicestershire to Burnham Deepdale, Norfolk in a day – a distance of just under 102 miles.. Ouch!

I'm swapping horsepower for pedal power, and hanging up my overalls and race car keys to dust off the bike for a change.

It’s all in aid of a brilliant charity – The Teenage Cancer Trust, and I would be eternally grateful if you could spare a few pennies or pounds to spur us on our way.

Not only will I have to endure hours and miles of gruelling physical effort and hard slog, but the thought of having to look at my brother in lycra strides all day is surely enough hardship alone to convince you to dig deep!
