Dear Friends and Family,
 
On Saturday 20th November 2010 we are holding an evening in memory of Olly, and to raise funds for Brain Tumour UK.  Olly was a fantastic party person, we're sure you all have fond memories of him dancing and merrymaking at many events.  He always had a reason to celebrate and have fun, and we hope to celebrate his adventure filled life in many ways, starting with a party!  Olly would have been very supportive of an event such as this one and we hope you are too.  We would love you all to be there. 

It is going to be a fantastic evening, with dancing, auctions, raffles and live music! We have some great things to auction off and brilliant prizes to be won. The aim of the evening is to have a good time, in true Olly style... and as a bonus raise loadsa dosh for a very worthwhile cause.

As you will know, we very sadly lost Olly last year, after his short battle with a malignant brain tumour.  The particular type was highly aggressive, and medicine could not help.  Brain tumours are devastating and deadly - there are over 120 types, and 16,000 people are diagnosed each year. However, research into cause and treatment is woefully underfunded.  We hope to raise money for Brain Tumour UK - the leading charity committed to fighting brain tumours. They have personalised support available online, on the phone, by email and through friendly support groups. Their scientific research improves the quality of life for brain tumour patients and identifies better treatments. To do our bit, to make some good from what’s happened, we are hosting what we know will be an amazing and fun evening.  Tickets are only £20 each, if you purchase here we will then send you an email with the ticket attached. Please state how many tickets you would like, the more the merrier!

Event – Saturday 20^th November: 7pm till late @ Langley Park Sports and Social Club, Beckenham (further details are on tickets).

Buying Tickets – please DO NOT apply Gift Aid – these funds are not eligible to be gift aided because you, the donor, are receiving something in return for your donation.

Making a donation – if you wish to make an individual donation or a donation over and above the ticket price before the event, please do this by a separate transaction, and apply gift aid.
