On the 9th of May we are running the Bristol 10k for the second time. We are joining with over 600 other people as a part of the Love Running initiative aiming to raise £100,000 for some great causes.  We are running for:

• Stop the Traffik - It is estimated that there are 12.3 million people in forced labour worldwide, of which 2.4 million are the result of human trafficking. Stop the Traffik helps fund programmes of education, advocacy and protection - particularly for the most at risk women and children.
• World Vision (Zimbabwe)- one of the most desperate situations in the world right now, and we have an opportunity to partner with the largest development and aid organisation working in the country.
• Three local Bristol charities - St Peter's Hospice, the Noise and the Crisis Centre all serving those in need in Bristol

As well the causes, your sponsorship will spur us on to our own personal targets (it's much harder to back out if people actually sponsor you!). This year John hopes to run 45 mins, Tom hopes to run 50 mins and Louisa hopes to run somewhere close to 1 hour.
