We provide children's hospice care to children and families across Sussex

Story

Back in January, Dave and Tom rather foolishly agreed to
compete in the London Triathlon on August 5th, which at
the time sounded like a splendid idea. With 7 months of training,
it was going to be easy to prepare for the 1.5km swim, 40km cycle
and 10km run on a baking hot August day, they naively thought.

Now with less than 4 weeks to go, we need all the encouragement
we can get, so please dig deep and sponsor us to ensure our
public humiliation and physical torture is not in vain.

We are supporting a local charity, Chestnut Tree House, which
is a children’s hospice in Sussex. With both of us being new
Father’s with number two on the way, we were deeply moved
by the story of a local girl Ellie who died at Chestnut Tree House
in February.

This is what Ellie's mum, Lorraine has to say about the place:

"Our daughter Ellie spent her last few months at Chestnut Tree House Hospice. We couldn’t have got through it without them, they looked after us all as a family.  And still support us now. So please be generous and help them
care for other families like us."

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is
also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Chestnut Tree House
Children's Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are
a  taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at
no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support,

Dave and Tom
