Please sponsor me as I take on a personal challenge to play the organ non-stop for 14 hrs on Sat 11th May at my church. I

’ve been playing the organ for 69 years, so when I heard about the work that Barnabus does with the homeless I just wanted to help.There are so many desperate people in need and mostly through no fault of their own. Society today is so unjust so I just want to raise money to help.

With all the cold weather we have been having, can you imagine sleeping out at night? 

I don’t think I have many opportunities to do this sort of thing at my age, as 14 hours is a lot of work, so I want to make the most of it for Barnabus. I am very much looking forward to it. I am very sure of finishing. In fact, I will finish even if they have to pick me up at the end!

I will be playing a combination of hymns and my own favourite pieces It will be a mixture of music for singing and listening. It’s not a concert but  i'll be finishing off the day with a  rousing 'last night of the proms ' finale, if you live locally come and encourage me as I play and bring your Jubilee flags.
