Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

After my 2year old daughter spent 2 weeks in the renal unit in  GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital),due to problems with her kidneys  , I thought it would be nice to give something back to GOSH, to help say thank you for the wonderful  treatment and support she received. so staff, cadets and myself from 1334 Manningtree sqn air cadets( www.1334aircadets.org ) are planning to do a sponsored walk. I'm looking to complete 25 miles and the cadets will be doing a shorter course of either  12 or 18 miles  depending on their age.1334 Manningtree air cadets is a youth organisation for 13 - 20 year olds interested  in a career  in the forces or just wanting to do something different with their spare time.

Donations make a difference

here are some of the ways your money can help

just £7 could help to pay for an ' assisted bath' a piece of equipment with a plat form to gently help a child in and out of the water

£20 tiny new born babies often need special neonatal masks to help them breathe. £ 20 could help GHOSH to purchase 4 of these vital items

£545 all in-patients at GHOSH need specialy adapted beds. £545 could help to keep patients as comfortable as possible

£798 could pay for a wheelchair and its accessories.
