We are here for anyone with epilepsy, their families, carers and employers. We campaign for improved healthcare and an end to stigma, influence policies that will affect the health, educational and social welfare of people with epilepsy and provide quality information and support services.

Story

Delia was a wife, sister, daughter, aunt and friend.  To all, she was a hero.

She lived with a brain tumour for 13 years, enjoying life, staying strong and caring for others working as a GP for as long as possible.  Oh, and tormenting one and all with a wicked, wicked sense of humour!  Gone too soon on August 14th 2011, aged 37.  She is missed.

In summer 2012, we will cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats remembering Delia. Along the way we're hoping to raise a bit of money for two causes that help those who have similar conditions to Dee.

Her husband Ian, brothers John, Mark and David and friends Sammy, Tubs and Gio will ride ably backed up in the support vehicle by her dad, Mark Snr and ("I'll drive") Cameron.

You can use this page to donate to Epilepsy Scotland or visit the team page to go to our other page to donate to Brain Tumour Action. Or go to both and donate to both causes. Thank you very much for any donation you can make, no matter how small. Together we can make a difference to those who suffer from brain tumours and epilepsy.

Note: all costs involved in kit, travel & subsistance are being funded by the cycling team with all monies raised going directly to the charities.
