My story
I'm doing the Welsh 3 Peaks in a few weeks. It's approx. 22 miles up and down three of the tallest mountains in Wales in around 8hours. No doubt me and the guys will be in lots of pain and shouting abuse at each other so that's one great reason to donate. The best reason though is the charity we're doing it for.
It’s for Ty Hafan. The walk will be tough – hardly any sleep and a 4am start really doesn’t help either - but none of that compares to what the families and children who rely on Ty Hafan for support go through on a regular basis.
I used to work for Ty Hafan and have seen first-hand how hard these families' lives are and how much support they need. Ty Hafan provide that support day and night for as long as it’s needed so please dig deep and help. It doesn’t matter whether all you can give is a pound. It all makes a difference.
By the way, our team is called Go Hard of Go Home and yes we came up with name before that rubbish J Lo song.
