I'm running in memory of my close friend Chris Byrne who sadly passed away on March 24th 2015.
Those who were lucky enough to have known Chris will know exactly why I am running the marathon for him: he was a man who always gave his time for others. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Chris: he was always willing to give helpful advice and always made sure people were welcomed and looked after. I had many a holiday with Chris, Anne and the kids and he always made sure we had a great time. He was a giant of a man in every sense.
