Haikus for Hope is a poetic intervention in response to the humanitarian crisis in Isreala nd Gaza. We are asking for a £2 donation - in return you will receive a beautifully crafted 'hopeful haiku' straight to your inbox. Haikus have been bespokely crafter by writers and non-writers alike.

A Statement from British Red Cross

Since Saturday 7th October, a devastating humanitarian crisis in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory has developed.

Staff and volunteers have been working round the clock to respond to urgent needs, including treating casualties. The ICRC are ready to provide further humanitarian assistance as required on both sides.

The Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territory Appeal will support people in areas currently affected and those potentially affected in the future by the crisis. In the unlikely event that we raise more money than can be reasonably and efficiently spent, any surplus funds will be used to help us prepare for and respond to other humanitarian disasters anywhere in the the world.
