St Ann’s Hospice cared for my dad in 2016 and my family and I will always be grateful for the special care he received. 

This year, I will be running the Valencia Marathon on 3rd December, less than 3 months after the birth of my first child, Sophia, for the ‘Build it Together’ campaign at St Ann’s. 

This is to raise money for a new purpose-built hospice, plans for which have been in the making since 2015. The goal is to start building this autumn, but there is a shortfall of funds needed to make this a reality. It’s a hugely exciting time for the hospice, and essential to make sure first class care can continue.

I hope to run faster than my 2:38:41 personal best, while navigating the huge life changes which lie ahead! Bring on the challenge!
