Story
In March 2026, I’ll trek 114km along Spain’s Camino de Santiago to raise funds for a Vocational School in Nepal and to provide support to young people in the UK via Jamie's Farm.
I travelled to Nepal in 2022 to see the excellent work SNC conduct first hand, whilst raising money for their charity during a trek to Everest Base Camp.
The school you will be helping offers young Nepalis the chance to learn trades, earn a dignified living, and escape poverty, where average income is just $2/day.
Your sponsorship will help fund classrooms, tools, and training spaces for more than 1,400 children and young people, adding to the two schools already built by the charity in the region. The charity aims to provide a “hand up, not a handout’.
Being part of the St. James’s Place community, SJP will double your donation and send equivalent funds to Jamie’s Farm, a UK charity supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
Jamie’s Farm supports young people in the UK, by offering farm-based residential and day visit programmes for those who might be at risk of social or academic exclusion. It provides exposure to purposeful work, a sense of community and wider support, if needed.

Every donation makes a difference. Thank you for your generosity.
