I’m Suki and I’ll be Chasing The Sun on 21st June 2025, the longest day of the year !

I’m participating in the Chase the Sun cycling event on 21st June 2025, an epic journey across Italy from Cesenatico on the Adriatic Sea at sunrise to the Tyrrhenian Sea, covering a minimum distance of 280km and climbing over 2800m, between Sunrise and Sunset, hence Chasing The Sun !

I am raising funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH), an organization that provides life-changing support for thousands of children each year who need specialist treatment. Our family is forever indebted to the incredible individuals at GOSH. Without their vital research and amazing work, we would be without our beloved grandson Alaric, who was born with a congenital heart defect identified during a routine scan.

He underwent life-saving open heart surgery and spent a number of weeks at GOSH before returning home. The weeks that followed were some of the most challenging times for his family, especially his parents. However, the support received from GOSH made this journey so much easier—the accommodation provided, the incredible individuals they met, and of course, the life-saving surgery.

Grateful for the care received and knowing that many other children are in need of similar support, I have chosen to raise funds for GOSH. Right now, they are helping countless children who require their specialist care.
