As 21st May 2022 marks 11 years since Tia's Treasures began we thought it would be a good time to announce our fundraising plans for Tia's Treasures 11th Birthday.

Over the past 11 years the Tia's Treasures Team have fundraised for a number of charities, deserving causes and individuals in a number of ways such as family fun day events, raffles, sponsored hair dyes and hair shaves, fancy dress sponsored walks etc.

The event that has raised the largest amount to date was the Tia's Treasures 2nd Birthday Fundraiser which was held at The Cliff Hotel, Gorleston in May 2013 and raised £1,500.

Each year we would fundraise to celebrate Tia's Treasures Birthday with the plan to go bigger than ever for Tia's Treasures 10th Birthday May 2021, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic we were limited on what event we could organise therefore although we did manage to fundraise for the East Of England Ambulance Service we hadn't achieved our goal of going bigger and better than previous years.

As the Tia's Treasures 11th Birthday drew closer time to organise anything on a large scale was running out fast, Tia has been busy studying hard for her upcoming college exams, Richard has been busy working full time and Lisa has been busy participating in various Training Courses as well as Volunteering for Home-Start Norfolk between the School Runs and various medical appointments for Toby the youngest member of the Tia's Treasures Team.

When Lisa received her Home-Start Norfolk Volunteer Newsletter she spotted the Fundraising Skydive taking place on 14th August 2022 at Beccles Airfield, Richard bravely or madly (or both bravely and madly) suggested signing himself up to participate in the Skydive to celebrate 11 years of Tia's Treasures and raise funds for Home-Start Norfolk which will make a positive difference for countless families across Norfolk.

This will definitely be the biggest (and bravest) fundraising event to date considering Richard has never stepped foot on a plane before let alone diving down to earth from 13,000 feet with speeds of up to120 mph.

Please dig deep to celebrate 11 years of Tia's Treasures and raise much needed and much appreciated funds for Home-Start Norfolk between Tia's Treasures 11th Birthday and the 14th August 2022 when the Skydive takes place.
