It's time for CHOW's biggest fundraiser of the year! We're partnering with Beer Tree at the Oakdale Commons for our 41st Annual CHOW Hunger Walk on Saturday, September 23rd from 3-6pm.

Story

It's time for CHOW's biggest fundraiser of the year! The TWIGS Youth Group is participating in the 41st Annual CHOW Walk to be held at the Oakdale Commons. Last year the TWIGS youth raised $750, our goal this year is to raise $1,000. We hope you will support our cause because hunger is more widespread in Broome County than ever before and the need in 2023 has become even greater. This year CHOW has distributed almost 40% more food to our agencies than last year. Thanks to donors & fundraising partners like you, CHOW will be able to meet the growing needs of our community. Funds raised during The CHOW Walk helps support the work of The Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse throughout the year.

The TWIGS youth group at the Endwell UMC will walk and raise money for three important reasons:

1. To increase awareness about hunger in Broome County.

2. To raise funds to provide food to our neighbors in need.

3. To exercise and have fun as a community!

"Feed the hungry and help those in need. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon."

Thanks for your help in the fight to STOP hunger!
