Fundraising for Paul's Cancer Support Centre

As many of you are now aware a group of us (Pete Harris, Dave Howell, Tom MacSwiney, Andrew Wyatt and Richard ‘Hoff’ Hough) have taken the ludicrous decision to try to cycle to Paris over four days in June. We are hoping that our efforts will not be in vain as we hope to raise some money for our chosen charity, the Paul D’Auria Cancer Support Centre, http://www.pauldauriacentre.org.uk/, which was instrumental in helping Pete’s girlfriend’s mother during her battle with breast cancer.
Considering many of us have not been near a bike for years and training is not something which comes naturally, this will be no walk (or ride!) in the park. Leaving on the 7th June, we are aiming to average 120km a day and will look to arrive in Paris for the start of the World Cup.
We would be really grateful if you would sponsor our venture to support the Paul D'Auria Centre, a truly tranquil place with truly inspirational people. They provide amazing services from practical financial advice to hollistic therapies such as massage and reflexology, all by volunteers. Like many charities they are struggling in the current economic climate and any support you can offer will be very gratefully received.
