March 2009 I (Patrick Jansen van Doorn) will participate in a challenge to climb the Mount Everest up to Base Camp (5545 meter). This is a fundraising challenge, organized by my employer Accenture in cooperation with VSO.

My contribution to this challenge is first of all the travel- and insurance expenses. Secondly, of course, the physical training. And finally, I have donated € 320,- to get my fundraising activities started. However, my goal is to raise € 5.000,-. Funds will directly benefit Nepalese children in the remote hills of the Himalaya's. Their access to education is limited.

There are two ways to donate:
