Story
Thank you all for donating, it helped me through the final stages.
I finished in 5hrs and 13 minutes, felt reasonably well afterwards, even better now after a whole day rest on the sofa yesterday.
Thank so much for all generous donations
Paul
Finally after almost 13 years, I have had a diagnosis for my daughter Saskia's symptoms of Dyspraxia and epilepsy - the condition that is known as 'the most common, unknown disease amongst children' - Neurofibromatosis. This condition was queried 10 years ago by her initial pediatrician, and finally diagnosed by Kings College Hospital, London last year!
To raise awareness about this unknown condition I will be putting my own body through it's paces! I will be running the London Marathon in April on behalf of the Neurofibromatosis charity. I can't do this alone! I need you to help me to raise £1500, so that the charity can continue to do the amazing work that it does.
Please donate generously, for every £10 donation I will allocate a 30 second time slot between 4 hrs 30 min and 5 hrs 30 min. The time slot closest to my actual finishing time on the day will win £100 from my own pocket...I just need you to donate!
Thanks so much for your help
Paul, and Saskia
