Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
This is my beautiful sister Debbie who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in April 2008. I remember the phone call when she broke the news to me like it was yesterday, and where my heart sank, Deb's attitude was so positive, she was determined to attack the dreaded word CANCER head on and beat it.
The picture just sums up the 10 months since that call, because although she has been through surgery, Chemotherapy and Radiotheraphy, she has always remained determined, positive and had a smile on her face. With the support of her husband Martin, her children Daniel and Erin, along with her family and friends, Deb has been an inspiration to all, now offering support to others who are going through the anxiety and pain she has and still is.
And as she does'nt do anything in halves, she has decided to go and jump out of a bloody plane at 10,000ft on the 30th May, to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
So to put my Mum through double the worry, I decided to do it with her, so I could do my bit to help raise money, for research into this dreadful disease, as I could not bear the thought of my wife Loretta, or daughter Maisie, having to suffer the indignity of losing their breasts.
