In the UK: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. One man dies every hour of prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK’s leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. We fund research, provide support and information, and we campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. We provide the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline staffed by prostate cancer specialist nurses. Our nurses offer free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. The Charity is fighting prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.

I would appreciate your support as I intend to raise £2000 for Prostate Cancer UK by April. My reason for running the marathon and the choosing this charity is because last year my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.

The Prostate Cancer Charity www.prostate-cancer.org.uk is the largest and most comprehensive of the charities focused specifically on prostate cancer. The charity provides funding for research into Prostate Cancer as well as practical support for people affected by it.
