Story
So, once again the bald bloke who hates running is hitting the streets in the bitter cold to train for another marathon. Seriously, this is the last time (he says) so let's all make it a good one.
This time I am running for Dreams Come True - a charity that does what it says on the tin. Helping terminally and seriously ill children, your donation could help a child like Ryan.
Ryan is ten years old and has Batten’s Disease, a neurodegenerative illness. He has been very brave but sadly recently lost his sight and suffers from seizures as well as a heart condition. Ryan’s favourite film is Disney’s ‘Snow Dogs’ and his dream was to meet and play with these wonderful animals.
Dreams Come True fulfilled this dream arranging for him to spend two days at the world famous Aviemore Sled Dog Rally.
Ryan’s father said, “This has been a magical experience far beyond our greatest expectations.”
I love stories and charities like this, and that's why I've chosen to lend them my support, so come on, don't make me pester you, because we both know that I will, and please donate now.
Thanks.
