Just prior to Christmas 2006 a friend of mine called me and said, "I have a proposition for you. How do you fancy cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats next summer?" Some four months later, I am on a strict training schedule in preparation for our cycle challenge which begins on Sunday 12 August 2007. The journey is over 900 miles and we hope to complete it within two weeks. I am cycling in order to raise money for a very worthwhile cause-  The West Of England School For Young People With Little Or No Sight.
