We are a leading UK environmental charity, working for the future of our ocean by driving political and social change through people, science and evidence – protecting habitats and regenerating ecosystems in partnership with communities, businesses and governments.

Story

The owl and the pussycat went to sea in a beautiful pea green rowing boat...to row across the Atlantic in the 2009 Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race...

In December 2009 we will be attempting to row across the Atlantic in a small

'pea green' two man rowing boat. It is a gruelling journey of some 2500 nautical

miles and is estimated to take between 40 and 90 days. For more information

visit our website at www.followthepeagreenboat.com and see also

www.accelerace.co.uk

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most

efficient way to sponsor us: Marine Conservation Society (MCS) will receive your

money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to

your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
