Having trained tirelessly for the past few months, St Ignatius College's Cycling Crew (S.I.C.C.C) will be heading west from the gates of the school in Enfield to the dreamy spires of Oxford University. Fr Byron, the school's chaplain, will be at the start line ( and be our 'man-in-the-van'), whilst Fr Moffatt, the school's former chaplain, will be greeting us at the finishing line.
This is a gruelling 70 mile challenge and the inaugural charity event for our cycling crew.
It costs £125 a year to educate one primary school pupil at our sister school in Dodoma, Tanzania. The twelve trailblazing Ignatian cyclists, with your generous support, aim to raise enough sponsorship, to send twelve younger Tanzanian Ignatians to school for one year.
