Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am trying to raise money for the Family Focus Parent Support Group. To do this I am going to attempt to swim 50 lengths of Morden Park Pool. Each length is 33 metres.

Family Focus has always been funded by grants from charitable trusts and donations but this year our grant has been withdrawn and it faces closure by the end of the year.

For the last couple of years I have been battling depression. I have been attending Family Focus for nearly a year since the birth of my son Arran. Family Focus has helped me build confidence and bond with my children. Whilst receiving support from other members I have also been able to offer support to others who are also suffering, some more than me.

Family Focus provides help for parents with children under 5 years of age who are having serious difficulties coping with parenthood due to a range of difficult circumstances. These can include stress, depression, loneliness, phobias, child behaviour problems, history of abuse, bereavement and separation - and unfortunately lead to a breakdown in the parent/child relationship and poor quality of life for the entire family. Family Focus can provide the vital support these families need - but only with YOUR HELP
