Thank you for visiting my page. In what has become something of a tradition, on Saturday 20th October, I will be putting myself through intense physical torture for the benefit of the Claremont Project. Along with my fellow kung fuers, I will be attempting to hold the traditional training positions on the left for as long as possible. Looks easy, huh? Try them for a minute. I'm aiming for 15 - for each! Claremont is a local charity which provides help, support, activities and events for people who are largely excluded from the community. Islington Council has significantly cut the charity's funding, thereby reducing its ability to provide help and services for the elderly people of Islington, so the money we raise is both greatly needed and appreciated. The culture in the UK is moving further and further away from respecting one's elders, while they become increasingly isolated. Please give generously: remember - you'll be old one day too!
