WE DID IT!!!
On Tuesday 29th June 2010, fifteen members of Perse Girls Junior School successfully completed our challenge. We rowed from lock to lock on the river Cam, navigating our way through the other puzzled rowers, getting a bicycle wheel stuck to an oar at one point, changing crew at the weir (a little scary) and fending off the Angry Swan at the end of the Plough Reach, supported the whole way by colleagues, friends and family. You can see a few photos on this page of our travels.
We would like to thank all of you who have already donated to this worthy cause - what a staggering amount of money you have raised. If you would still like to donate to Great Ormond Street Hospital, the site will be open until 1st October 2010.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you very much.
